I went to my first card show yesterday and had a really amazing time. I definitely did not expect I would be coming home with not just one but all 3 of my chase cards: the two Sylveon EX cards from the radiant collection (added to Generations in ENG) and the Sylveon EX SAR from Terastal Festival (Prismatic in ENG)
I also got to pick up the beautiful Vaporeon V from Evolving Skies and the Sylveon and Gardevoir Tag Team. There's other versions of this card which I saw as well but I will go for those in the future.
I went with a budget of around 200 euro, but I also brought some Legendary Treasures cards with me. I bought a booster box in 2013 and completed the Radiant Collection with some dupes and I also pulled the golden Reshiram card from that set. All together, this gave me another 350 euro in cash so I barely had to spend any of my original budget.
The Korean Terastal Sylveon was a last minute pick up as I barely saw that card around (I did not go when it opened so maybe a lot of them sold already lol) but I managed to pick up the Korean one for just 60 euro because I got to trade in some radiant collection commons.
They still had a bunch of other cute cards which were more in the 2 to 10 euro range but I wanted to focus on the more expensive cards because I don't think I'll ever have this big of a budget again. xD I only recently started collecting again so the Legendary Treasures/Radiant Collection stuff was the only valuable thing I really had to trade. I have a few dupes left of the commons but all of my big hits are gone or I want to keep them for myself.
