I recently came across a Japanese Hitmonlee holo card that has something I haven’t really seen before, it looks like there are TWO holo swirls perfectly overlapping, almost like one swirl sits inside the other.
From what I understand, swirl placement is random, but this seems unusually aligned compared to typical double swirl cards.
I’m trying to figure out:
How rare is this kind of “perfect overlap” double swirl?
Does this actually add noticeable value, or is it more of a niche collector thing?
Has anyone seen something similar before?
Condition-wise, the card is almost NM and I can upload pictures if that helps.
Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone here collects swirl variants specifically.
Thanks!

I think I have cards where the swirl looks like it moves. Not sure if its the same thing as this.
But personally, if I am a swirl collector, I prefer swirls in 2 different locations of the card, then on the same position. So probably not noticeable value past a card with a single swirl.
It’s just a normal swirl.
