Hopefully we get all of the Castform from the event pass encounters. Feels like they have really screwed up these spawns during certain types of weather for a while now.
Exactly what I thought of after seeing the event.. I'm living in Europe and honestly we do have either cities or lots forest and river areas…so probably we're not suited for this featured event..

We have a small desert in Poland (Europe), but I don't know if the game will recognize it. It's called the Błędowska Desert. You can see some photos on the internet.

Mid event, new pokemon is unobtainable for many trainers and they gave Galarian Corsola Pinkeye
I'm in Colorado, there's a desert here but does that qualify or does that mean more like the scatterbug region deserts?
They will spawn off incense in any biome due to being event spawns unless you are a spoofer they barely even spawn in their biome so not a big deal.
No desert in Virginia.
