Sustainability Week 2026, But Where is the New Pokemon?

The brand new Pokemon, Silicobra, is here in Pokemon Go for the very first time during the annual sustainability week event. However, this particular Pokemon is extremely rare as it only appears in a very specific biome.

  1. Hey Brandon, and all others, quick question. How rare is the shadow shiny galarian weezing? I got one yesterday after defeating a grunt and cant find any information on it.

  2. I didn't catch any tikaton during their event where they simply didn't spawn for me despite getting a notification to check. I think it's broken due to how the scorebunny event exclusively spawned scorebunny for me. It's supposed to be increased chance not replacement from what I understand.

  3. L Event, I despise Biome-Locked Pokemon with a PASSION.

Many people (including myself) aren’t able to go out and explore a whole lot, so this event really is “what you see is what you get”

(For me in particular, I’m going to be seeing a LOT of Toedscool, even though I’m want to be going to be going after Silicobra.)

  4. Accessibility should be a core part of Pokémon GO, especially during Sustainability Week. Players with physical disabilities can’t always explore or reach gyms easily, and recent changes have made the game harder for us instead of more inclusive. Niantic and Scopely should focus on accessibility features—like approved joystick options or better remote play—so everyone can participate equally.

  5. i walked 3 routes = 1 corsola. spent half an hour at the park = 1 toedscool. at least the togetic were plentiful.

  6. the 2 new pokemon are not in the pass even tho it says event pokemon are in it.
the 2 new pokemon are not hatching from eggs.
the 2 new pokemon are not in field research.
my closest beach is a 2 hour drive away, and ive no idea where the closest desert is.
so how am i supposed to catch silicobra or wiglet?

  7. @Hockey_Pete27: Should I trade a shiny background legendary for a shiny mewtwo in a lucky trade pls let me know

  8. Nowhere near a desert. I'm out in the sticks (country) on the EAST coast USA. Might get a shiny Toedscool since that one is forest and mountains.
One "beach" area close by is a state park with a fake beach attached to the lake.
When I topped the mountain and drove down into the state park area, you lose all signal and the game stops working.
