People don't like playing against other human players who knows the mechanics better than them and can't handle losses and get better. Although there are some bugs that needs to be fixed. Needs more other incentives than just the battles.
Haven't played this game. But, aren't you supposed to import your own pokemon into it from pokemon home or whatever game you caught them? And this main game just has some rental pokemon you can use to try the game out. Similar to pokemon stadium
I’m having more fun on this game than I did on pokopia. I have about 8 ish hours. I’ve played an hour of pokopia and It’s not making me go back to it at all
I was expecting something like pokemon stadium 1 and 2 mixed with pokemon showdown. Capitalistic corporate greed ruins everything. @7:27 gen 1 was not half assed. That first gen has so much heart and soul poured into it
No surprise I seen the dead servers for trades everyone going why is no one trading or anything because switch 2 has horrible sales they predicted 25 million this quarter and just barely made 17 million it failed these Nintendo fan boys keep saying fastest selling launch and 17 million like it means something but what they don't grasp is 17 million is not that big when their predicted sales was 25 million and fastest selling launch doesn't mean anything if the sales stagnate 😂
This has made me 100% not wanna try this game cos it seems very limited. They should of just given us a classic collection of pokemon games. People would of had more joy from that
This game is a very low effort attempt at being a cash grab, to seriously play you are required to sign up to 3 subscriptions, one being a monthly sub for additional game perks, a sub to Pokemon Home for access to other pokemon from other games and the Nintendo online since the game is always online, no offline game play which sucks if wanting to play while on the road and an online connection isn't available.
10:23 you say that like people outside of that demographic are known for their criticism of pokemon or even nintendo at large, I dont think i've ever seen a black guy who's critical of how nintendo or pokemon are run as games / companies.

I'm sad Pokopia sold well. It's a game keycard, what a scam. It's also nothing new, just a Dragon Quest Builders clone with a Pokémon skin.

No gender swapping either stuck as the one you choose so limited roll playing
I played it, the game logged me off mid tutorial/opening
Pay2Compete. Got to buy that battle pass or you don't have access to certain strategies. But the 4 out of 6 pokemon rule is how VGC usually runs.
