Hey guys! I'm new to the TCG life. I've always loved Pokémon. Grew up watching it and playing the games but never got into the cards….until recently.
Let me start off by saying I genuinely don't care about the value/pay off. I'm just in it to collect cards that I like. I'm creating 3 binders. One with all Eevee and eeveelution cards, another with artwork that I like (specifically Shinji Kando, Asako Ito, Yuka Morii, and Saboteri), and a third with random cards I or my fiancee like.
With that being said, when trading I want to make sure that I'm getting a fair trade with cards I have. I know how to tell which cards are Basic vs Rare vs Hyper Rare but I'm unsure how to calculate the actual value.
What apps/sites do y'all use to calculate trade value? Is it worth it to get them graded? If so, who do you trust? Any tips for attending cards shows?
