Sudowoodo isn't the only Generation 2 Pokemon that I'll be making a Mega Evolution for my project, there are 9 other Pokemon from the same generation I want to clear and today's entry is one of them, being Crobat.
Crobat was introduced in Generation 2 as the evolved form of Golbat if raised with high friendship, offenses are however average but Crobat gets access to Nasty Plot as its set to its lower attacking stat of base 70 Special Attack but no set up moves for its base 90 Attack, Crobat has two abilities, Inner Focus and Infiltrator. Inner Focus protects the Pokemon from flinching and negates Intimidate and Infiltrator bypass screen when it attacks.
When Mega Crobat undergoes Mega Evolution, it becomes Poison/Dark with Dark replacing Flying as its secondary typing because Crobat has Dark Pulse which is very realisable. It's ability is now Levitate to grant Mega Crobat an immunity to Ground, a reference to Crobat has Flying as its secondary typing granting two immunities being Psychic and Ground. It resists four types, Grass, Dark, Ghost and Poison. It's design makes it resemble a demon bat found in JRPG games and now includes a long tail.
