Every year we’ve been getting Horizon events, and it seems 2026’s will come in May. With the poster it seems it might be a Gimmighoul featured event? So maybe another chance at Gholdengo. It also seems this is why Mega Falinks out of all of the Megas is getting its raid day now, with it being debuting in the anime.
Seems Horizons will have a Go arc. We’ll have Liko and Roy deal with the Go Pass, and the game crashing endlessly.

Perhaps we will find out that GBL lag turns out to be lore accurate.

I’d assume Captain Pikachu returns. Probably same with the Liko Hat/Pin Floragato, possibly able to evolve into Meowscarada now, given that Liko has a Meowscarada here. I wonder if they’d do any new costumes. Not really in the know much with the show, so idk if they’d do anything else. Maybe a Roy-themed costume Skeledirge in T3 raids??
Also wouldn’t surprise me if Tinkatink is wild during the event, seeing that we’re now post-CD

Good call. However I do think the first two Horizons event were tied to Netflix/BBC releases in US/UK respectively.
Could they do an event based on JP initial release this time? Or could they consider this as a “spoiler” for people only watch anime dubbed.

Animation Week 2020 – 1 year after original release, 4 months after US release
Horizons 2024 – 11 months after original release, 0 months after US release
Horizons 2025 – 18 months after original release, 8 months after US release
Even if we get one, it’s going to be for Horizons S3 and not anything related to the poster
Yes there’ll be a tie-in, but I think people are missing the point of Go being in the poster. It’s going to be integrated into the anime. Friede (and I think Liko?) already know Willow.
