I never saw any. I had my phone on with incense all day at work and played on the move after work 4 to 6 hours a day, not even one. There's no desert within 1000 miles of me

"everywhere" is a bit of a stretch. none spawned in my entire STATE, probably none in new england. its gonna be a remote trade one for me since this "sustainability" event encourages spending thousands on a plane ticket or sp00fing.

I remember getting good IVs and shinies when I used to spoof and did events the day before.
Also we scoped every sandy areas nearby and haven’t seen a single one since it’s been raining for 2 week straight here in Quebec…. So yeah I guess whatever 🥱

I have seen zero of them since the event started. So no pokedex entry for me :(.
There might be some truth to the idea about good iv's or good catches in general at the start of events. I haven't seen a single silicobra yet but I did catch 2 shiny shadow pokemon soon after it started. I'll have to work on my timing and apparently look harder for silicobra.

They’re only spawning near Denver Colorado and Bend Oregon.
