This virtual Go Plus will most likely be able to automatically throw Great/Ultra balls, bet on it.
I don’t think they would make the Go Plus or Plus+ unusable at this stage. The latter was only introduced around three years ago. It makes sense to see a subscription strategy to obtain Plus+ abilities for those who cannot obtain a physical device for a reasonable price now they are discontinued.

I hate everything becoming a subscription.
They will so hard remove support for physical devices and make us pay monthly for a digital device.
Nintendo can be incredibly dumb, as can Scopely. I am sure Nintendo put those limitations in place because they don't make as much from the "virtual" auto catch devices as they would the accessories they make… Even IF they aren't currently making them. They want to keep that potential profit factor open for themselves IF they make another.
And you KNOW Scopely will rent it. Probably as part of events.

AK I NEED YOUR HELP! For some odd reason my alerts to notify me for a certain pokemon in particular has not been working 😭 I have all my notifications and adventure snyc on, but every time I turn on the alerts it turn off by itself. Is there any way you can address this issue?
I mostly just use mine for spinning stops. If it's as good as an autocatcher at that I would consider paying a small one-time fee but otherwise nah, I'm so sick of giving this company money when their game quite honestly isn't worth much. Maybe if the game wasn't so buggy and their customer support wasn't just AI chatbots and raid passes, store items etc weren't already so outrageously expensive and otherwise difficult to obtain.
