Received this old bulk from a family friend

While talking with another friend about pokemon, a longtime family friend jumped in and told me he used to collect pokemon with his son. I told him that if he still had any of it, its worth a lot nowadays and that he should go through it.

Met with him today and he pulled out two small boxes of bulk, one english cards and one japanese. Told me to go through them and keep what I like, sell the rest if I wanted to.

Also said that he has boxes of holos somewhere, but hasnt found where he put them yet.

I started to go through it all… and its crazy! 99% of it looks pack fresh like it hasnt moved a centimeter in the last 20+ years.

Im not the most knowledgeable on japanese sets, but I did find a couple banned cards going through the stack and thought Id share.

I dont know if Ill actually sell any of it since he gave it to me, but if I do itll all go back to him.
