  1. This kind of makes me believe that we really are gonna get a Star Fox game annoucment any day now

  2. Daredspace

So my question is what’s the June game, is it going to be that star fox game or is it going to be like duskbloods or something else. Cause they seem to be releasing at least one new game a month

  3. In all honesty but why are they doing the multiplayer and singleplayer in 2 different games? It would make so much sense to just add both into the same game, heck people would buy a gamekey card for that…I really don‘t understand Nintendo for not adding the multiplayer into this game. Just make both damnit

I got a feeling we may be about to have a week of announcements… we are running out of time for Star Fox to be announced, according to NTH’s leak

Not sure if anyone else caught it, but the Mechanic has freckles here. This customization option went unused in Splatoon 3 alongside some scars if I remember correctly. It kinda looks like it takes some of the gameplay from Side Order too. I wonder how long this has been in development?

It looks like Big Man, Frye and Shiver will join you on different missions throughout the game. They’ll be in the walking little robot thing and seem to have special abilities, like riding Big Man or using Shivers megalodon as an ability.

Unsure if you select who comes with you or if they join you based on the story.

  7. Is this their take on Arc Raiders? You build up a kit, fight enemies, look for loot, and upgrade. The caveat is that this is single player.

Seems like a looter of sorts with RPG Mechanics inspired by the Splatoon 3 DLC, I’m interested.

    I NEED IT!

Only slight concern I have is I hope they do go all out with the level design. Maps are looking fairly flat from just what we see in just the trailer.

  10. thegreatgutter

Do we know what the gameplay is gonna be like? I didn’t play the Splatoon games because they were mostly multiplayer, but since this is single-player I might want to check it out…

I liked the trailer but aren’t the game levels too empty ? I’m not comparing Raiders to Space Marine II or Doom but I have seen few enemies in this trailer

  12. Omnizoom

Never got a splatoon game before but I am interested in this one

  13. Sentinel10

Honestly pretty interested in this. I see the appeal of Splatoon but the multiplayer focused games never really lasted long with me. This would be up my alley.

And if there’s any bright side to Nintendo’s recent focus on Nintendo Today, at least game related announcements seem to pretty much always be either on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. That’s some level of predictability at least.

“local wireless” am I to assume that means playing with other people with multiple switches/copies of the game? Why are so many games allergic to just regular local co-op multiplayer?

  15. ZachBurner

Does no else think this looks boring, dull, and lifeless?

  16. No_Personality6824

Man anything but a direct, genuinely looking forward to this game though

  17. Leading_Ad_6437

it reminds me of sunset overdrive, maybe a little but i really loved that game, i hope its really similar!

  18. Ryanman15

I must be out of the Nintendo loop, did not know this existed lol

  19. tale-wind

Fully single-player Splatoon is great! But personally I’m still holding out for a couch multiplayer entry.

  20. VaultHunterChaos

I immediately said sold when it said a single player focused Splatoon game. I mean I love Splatoon as it is but having a stand alone single player splatoon is something I wanted since Splatoon 2 since I fell in love with the single player mode and wish it was its own game.

  21. Gytreeady

Judging by the comments here and on yt it seems like I’m in the minority, but I’m slightly disappointed. I’ve been waiting impatiently for any info on the game since the direct, hoping to get something really heavy on the single player side, with a nice, long story and world building. While this (based exclusively on the trailer mind you) looks like Nintendo had taken the PvE aspect of Splatoon games and simply expanded it a bit. It kinda looks like Metal Gear Survive but worse, somehow? I hope I’m wrong though.

I do know however, that I am not a big fan of Deep Cut, probably mostly due to the fact of Splatoon 3 having barely any story or their involvement in it. So, the cast is already worrying, no matter what the final game turns out to be.

  22. TheBoneShackles

    A Splatoon looter shooter? I am intrigued…

  23. Johncurtisreeve

My favorite aspect of splatoon is the single player so i am pumped for this

  24. cominghomelater

totally forgot this was a switch 2 exclusive until this. damn it

  25. rendumguy

50 dollars digital is pretty good, I feel like a game like this could end up pretty long and replayable.

  26. markmelo10

Just got my Switch 2 recently and was curious do they do Betas for this game? Or did they already? Was curious to play and try before as have never played a splatoon game before.

  27. MaurixioZ

I really hope this game ends up being good and has a good amount of replayability.

I love the aesthetic of Splatoon and the few times I’ve played the games when I’m with some of my friends the gameplay is also really good, but I could never justify buying an online focused game with how slow my internet is most of the time.

  28. AgentJoestar

I wonder if there’s going to be any bonuses from having save data from Splatoon 3 and vice versa? Considering that there’s new amiibo coming, I have a feeling there will be a new content update for Splatoon 3 releasing when Raiders launches for compatibility with the new Deep Cut amiibo that adds new outfits to the game

Looks like Borderlands but crafting instead of looting. Day1 purchase!
