Two rules: full art if one exists, best artwork from any era if not.
The result was interesting— Base Set classics sitting next to 2024 illustration rares, Japanese Team Rocket cards next to modern SV full arts. Every era of the TCG represented naturally just by chasing the best art for each Pokémon.
Hardest decisions were budget on the full arts. Would have been great to snag the Shining Legends Mewtwo or Evolving Skies Dragonite, maybe someday.
