Dynamax Regirock is finally making its Max Battle debut in Pokémon GO during Max Monday on April 20, 2026! From 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM local time, this Rock-type Legendary will be taking over Power Spots, giving Trainers a full day to grind Max Battles and add this powerhouse to their collection.
This is the first time Dynamax Regirock has ever been available, so if you’ve been waiting to battle one of the Regi trio in its Dynamax form, this is your chance. Power Spots will refresh more frequently, and there will be more active locations than usual—perfect for farming battles all day.
To take it down efficiently, make sure you’re using strong counters. Regirock is weak to Fighting, Ground, Water, Grass, and Steel-type attacks, so top picks include Machamp, Metagross, Excadrill, Kyogre, Groudon, and other high-DPS, bulky attackers that can survive longer in Max Battles.
Whether you’re hunting for strong IVs or just stacking rewards, this event is worth jumping into. Max Battles are all about balance between damage and survivability, so build your team smart and make the most of the limited-time window.
