## [OC] The Two Islands of Pokopia: My Original Town & A Secret Pallet Town Recreation (WIP)
I’ve been working on a project involving two neighboring islands that couldn't be more different! One is a town of my own design, and the other is a nostalgic recreation with a dark secret.
### **Island 1: The Modern Hub (Original Creation)**
This is the main town I built from scratch. It’s meant to feel like a living, breathing community.
* **The Gym:** A custom-built gym for the island’s trainers.
* **Residential Area:** A bunch of houses I designed to give the town some scale.
* **The "Homeless Bench":** Added this small detail to give the town a more realistic, "lived-in" atmosphere.
### **Island 2: Pallet Town (Fire Red Recreation)**
Just across the water is a faithful recreation of **Pallet Town** from *Fire Red*, but I’ve added some deep lore and hidden areas.
* **The Surface:** You’ll find the classic layout, including Professor Oak’s Lab with the three starters.
* **The Team Rocket Base:** Hidden deep underneath the town is a massive Rocket facility.
* **Meowth’s Home:** Inside the base, I’ve built a specific living space for Meowth, tying it back to the Team Rocket trio from the anime.
### **Current Progress**
It’s still a work in progress, but I’m really happy with how the contrast between my original town and the recreation is turning out!
**What do you think? Should I add a secret tunnel connecting the two islands, or keep them separate?**
