When you've had a pokemon stuck in a gym for 2 months and when it finally gets beaten you don't get any coins because you already got coins from another gym that day

Yeah, those first couple seasons are so good to get the Pokey coins because spoilers you could’ve just gone anywhere and put your Pokémon and just half coins for raids consistently. I wish they would bring it back, but I don’t think it’s in their best benefit unless they’re gonna make the game more expensive if they’re gonna make the game more expensive, they should bring it back honestly like common sense.
Oh boy 😱 Blissey towers stills haunts me up to now. The pain of taking down those gyms is beyond diabolical
They should bring back the old Pokey coin system because honestly there’s more gyms now back then I understand not enough gym but now there’s a lot more gyms you can request them. Communities are getting bigger even in rural areas so yeah I think it would be nice now to bring it back just put it back how it was in the beginning. People can get more coins. That means I had to get more rating more people drawing so it’s a win-win but they don’t like reward us

I actually got a gun pulled on me at a gym. Not that im a bad azz but it wasnt scary. Pathetic behavior
I had a pokemon that i put in a gym in the first month that didnt get kicked out until the rework. I wasted so many coins on lucky eggs and incense because my storage was maxed at 500.
Let’s be real here… it’s all about greed. They could change the system and keep the amount earned at 100. They could care less about bits spoofers etc or they wouldn’t still be in the game selling Pokemon on eBay
Old gym system sucked. It used to take 30 mins to take down a high powered gym only to be kicked out and receive 0 coins. Having 10 gyms occupied at the same time so you could collect 100 coins was nearly impossible. I was a hardcore player back then and gyms and catching were pretty much the only mechanics and I doubt I ever got more than 50 coins a day if so it wasn't consistently
Ik this is not a GBL video sorry bro. I have to say GBL has gotten way worse. I clicked my charge attack while the opponent was locked in an animation yet still got their charge attack off before me. I also tried switching pokemon clicking up to four times yet it wouldn’t let me catch/switch. GBL used to be fun somewhat & playable. I have touched GBL in years now I’ll never touch it ever again. Props to everyone who still plays & enjoys it I personally do not know how they do.
You know it is better though, with these players camping in a gym for over a month now, that live right next to a gym.
The old system seems great but extreme cases ruined it for everyone. The new system seems fine as is but it is sad that they had to combine it with cutting the coins in half.
More than 80% of Pokemon Go players can not defeat Dynamax Legendaries Pokemon if no massive battle adjustment to ease the Dynamax Legendaries Pokemon raid battle!!!
im farming coins now from gyms not too much but enough for the raid passes and upgrade pokestorage, now i have 50 raid pass just from free pokecoins…
The old system FORCED you to play with many other people.
We had a group of 30 mystic players and would play together on Saturday afternoons. We would do like 80 gyms, destroy them in two minutes, bubble strat, put ten monsters and go to the next one.
Sometimes I wouldn’t need to place mons for a complete month because I had like 50 gyms in the countryside 😅
At my park there is one cheater that usually kick all the gym out and leave it blank every midnight, we fight back but that spoofer still at it again.
Kinda fun to kick that spoofer ass tbh

Old system, player have more than 6 acc, 2 colours to hog the gym.
New system , player have up 18 acc , 3 colours to hog the gym.
I always thought a good fix would be an additional 50 coins when a pokemon returns after 7-27 days in a gym, and an additional 100 if they have been in for 28+ days (these could stack, maxing at 200 coins for a day) I feel this would be balanced. I mean yeah, it’s not much better, but my Flygon coming back after 46 days would have meant something instead of coming back after I already got my 50 coins for that day. Time frames or coin amounts could be tweaked, but you get the idea
Need it back to 100 poke coins a day 50 can't even buy Pokemon storage and catch more than that each morning
Yeah I had a dragonite holding a gym for like a year and got mad coins from him. Now it sucks
I remember Blissey gyms! It would take forever to take one down!
I remember the old gym system and it got to the point it was getting really spiteful in my area, and I rarely got many pokecoins, in reality a lot less than I get now, so I was actually quite pleased when it changed. The spite in my area dropped overnight so for me i prefer these style gyms, but the old style were ruined by the few that were spiteful.
