Hi all!
Not only am I brand new to Pokémon Go, but I’m brand new to Pokémon in general. Idk, it seemed like a really fun thing to get into and a very welcoming community surrounding it so I figured I’d give it a shot. However, at this stage it’s all Greek to me so patience is appreciated!!
I’ve seen some posts on here saying that you should save all of your stardust until you’re level ~30 or so, and I’m wondering if any of these guys are worth powering up and/or evolving, or if I should just save it.
I’ve read as much to know that anything less than 3 stars isn’t worth investing in, so I’ve gone ahead and filtered my Pokémon results— everything you’re looking at is 3 stars. I’ve also got a Lechonk, PanPour, Natu, Rattata, Seedot, Bounsweet, and Gossifleur at 3 stars, not pictured. None of them are 100% but they’re all pretty close.
I just feel so lost, as I’ve never watched any Pokémon, played any of the video games, card games, apps— *nothing*. I’m really enjoying myself so far but I’m just a little wary since everyone online seems to be discouraging investing in Pokémon that you catch early-game. There’s also a lot about 3* being mandatory for powering up your Pokémon, but what if my Pokémon is only like 10 CP? I’m just struggling because I really want to invest in some of my 800 CP+ because those are the ones that I use in battle, but advice is very conflicting online.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!
