Yes, I realized this is very much like gambling when I was trying to get a shiny Zacian that had good IVs. Took 20 raids (many remote) just to get the shiny and it had an IV of 78. 🤷♂️
🌟 THE QUEEN OF THE RED SKY
A Pokémon mini‑novel about the day Dynamax Combee proved everyone wrong
Chapter 1 — The Dismissal
PokeAK stood in front of the massive raid lobby screen in Wyndon Stadium, arms crossed, shaking his head.
“Dynamax Combee? Useless,” he said, waving his hand as if brushing away a stray leaf. “Low stats, no real raid value, no PvP potential. Waste of a pass.”
Trainers around him nodded. Some laughed. Others backed out of the lobby entirely.
But one trainer didn’t move.
A young researcher named Lira, wearing a honey‑yellow jacket and a backpack full of field notes, stared at the glowing silhouette on the screen — the three‑faced, buzzing, oversized Combee outlined in red Dynamax energy.
“It’s not useless,” she whispered. “You just don’t understand it yet.”
And with that, she pressed READY.
Chapter 2 — The Red Rift
The sky above the Wild Area cracked open with a crimson flash. A Dynamax den pulsed like a heartbeat, and the ground trembled beneath Lira’s boots.
Inside the den, the Combee hovered — but not like any Combee she had ever seen. Its wings shimmered with prismatic light. Its three faces buzzed in perfect harmony, and the air around it vibrated with Stardust.
Literal Stardust.
It drifted down like glittering snow, coating Lira’s gloves.
She gasped. “This… this is concentrated Stardust production. No other Dynamax species does this.”
She scribbled notes furiously.
Behind her, footsteps echoed.
PokeAK had followed.
“Look,” he said, “I’m just here to prove a point. This thing won’t drop anything good.”
But the Combee turned toward them, and its eyes flashed gold.
Chapter 3 — The Battle of the Honey Storm
The raid began.
Combee unleashed Max Airstream, sending a tornado of golden pollen swirling through the cavern. Lira ducked, coughing, but laughing.
“This is incredible! The pollen density is off the charts!”
PokeAK squinted. “Okay… that’s a lot of particles.”
Then Combee used Max Ooze, and the cavern walls lit up with sticky, glowing honey that hardened into crystalline amber.
Lira collected a shard.
“This is refined honey‑amber. It’s worth thousands of Stardust per gram.”
PokeAK blinked. “Wait… it drops Stardust?”
“Not just drops,” Lira said. “It produces it.”
The Combee buzzed louder, and the den shook.
A final attack — Max Starfall — burst into a shower of rainbow light.
When the glow faded, the Combee shrank back to normal size… but something was different.
Its body shimmered with metallic gold.
Its wings sparkled like diamonds.
Its three faces glowed with soft, warm light.
Lira gasped.
“A… a shiny female Combee.”
PokeAK’s jaw dropped.
“That means—”
“Yes,” Lira whispered. “It can evolve.”
Chapter 4 — The Birth of a Queen
Lira held her breath as the Combee glowed brighter and brighter.
The evolution began.
Honey‑light swirled around it, forming hexagonal patterns. The cavern filled with the scent of wildflowers and electricity.
Then, with a flash—
A shiny Dynamax Vespiquen emerged.
Her body gleamed like molten gold. Her wings radiated royal purple light. Her crown‑like crest sparkled with Stardust.
She hovered silently, regal and powerful.
PokeAK stepped back. “Okay… that’s actually insane.”
Lira nodded. “She’s the rarest possible outcome of a Dynamax Combee raid. And she produces more Stardust than any known species.”
The Vespiquen floated forward and gently placed a glowing honeycomb shard in Lira’s hands.
A gift.
A recognition.
A coronation.
Chapter 5 — The Lesson
Outside the den, the sky cleared. The red rift faded. The world returned to calm.
PokeAK scratched his head. “So… Dynamax Combee isn’t useless.”
Lira smiled. “It never was. People just didn’t look closely enough.”
He sighed. “Guess I’ll have to make a correction video.”
“You don’t have to,” Lira said. “Just tell the truth.”
He nodded. “Yeah. The truth is… that was awesome.”
The shiny Vespiquen buzzed proudly behind them, her wings scattering Stardust into the breeze.
And somewhere deep in the Wild Area, another den pulsed with faint red light — waiting for the next trainer brave enough to believe in the little things.
Epilogue — The Research Notes of Lira
Findings:
– Dynamax Combee produces unusually high Stardust output
– Rare chance of spawning female shiny Combee
– Evolution into shiny Vespiquen yields one of the rarest forms in existence
– Honey‑amber crystals have unique properties not found in other raids
– Conclusion:
Dynamax Combee is not only useful — it is extraordinary
Im definitely happy with less events, feels really calm, relaxing yk 😂😂
But they are def preparing for a big storm for go fest 😶
