Back story
Years ago I got a few boxes of all my old " stuff " from my grandmother's house after her passing . For years all of it had been left out for any of my other younger cousins to play with any time they were there so ware and tear built up on stuff long after I was done with it.
Amought the collection was a few shoe boxes full of ALLL my old card collections not just Pokémon but wrestling, yugioh , Digimon cards and also sports cards like hockey and baseball …
Well during covid my wife was desperate for a project so she took all the pokemon cards out of the shoe boxes and put them in a binder and thats the story of how we both got back into collecting ! That binder is full of whats left of my childhood collection and is full of early set pulls !
One of those Pulls is my Entei Promo card , I remember grtting it the night I saw the movie ! Its one of those " not worth much , but full of memories " cards , it holds a special place in my heart.
So now that we have that out of the way , the real story !
While cleaning out my closet yesterday I stumbled on the remains of those original shoe boxes full of cards ! Was casually thumbing through them when I noticed my wife must have missed a few cards! ( nothing crazy , old trainers and energy cards mostly ) but there was one thing that jumped out …..
The Promo card that came with my Entei ! The odds that this thing survived without getting tossed or lossed for 26+ yesrs is blowing my mind . I know its not " worth " anything but finding it and taking the trip down memory lane was worth more then gold !
