I don’t plan on doing Mega Mewtwo raids. I wanted to say how my Mystery Box experience has been. I started searching yesterday. Walking doesn’t seem to be necessary, the spawn rate seems to be the same. I got a shiny Meltan yesterday, which I evolved. It was a tough decision. Hoping I can get a shiny Meltan again so I can keep it as is. But I’m still glad I have shiny Melmetal even though it’s a one star. 🙂

I’m hope that means the lobby’s will be the increased 40 trainers per lobby as it was in kalos tour 😮 as it will allow for people that miss out on the 20 person lobbies to be able to do the raids even if they only have 30 people in the raids
So wait we only get a half hour for both saturday and sunday for the event days at the parks or is it only on sunday for 30 minutes?
This is ok only if they make the shield use automatic…I was running into having plenty of megas in raids but they didn’t use their shields!

I don't even have any Mega stuff cause I just started a few months ago and my general area is pretty dead. Lol Pokemon go is more impossible to play than the regular games.

To be honest, 12 is manageable. Still crazy, but not too bad.
I'm picking Mewtwo Y. I hope people will actually be ready for these raids. They might be much tougher to beat than Dragonite, Victreebel, and Malamar!
Also irrelevant but for Alola Tour Volcanion might be the new Shiny mythical Pokémon. It just dropped as a reward for completing the Pokédex in Legends Z-A and the last time that they released a new Shiny Mythical soon after in Pokémon GO was with Shiny Keldeo and Shiny Meloetta who was also recently released for completing the Sword/Shield, and Scarlet/Violet Pokédex!

welp, gigantamax raids need 20 people 🤣 i have 1 friend who plays and we know 2 more guys who MAYBE can be called, so yeah … at this point if you don't do remotes, you can't get anything done
Remember this going into GO Fest! Mewtwo having 12 Shields DOES NOT mean the raid will require 12 high level trainers to beat it. You can break another Shield by backing out of the lobby and healing your mega back to full health which will allow your mega to break another Sheild. If everyone has level 40-50 counters plus a SE Mega Evolution, 6-8 trainers should be able to secure the victory as long as everybody is locked in.
Don’t worry about doing damage with the use of an opposing type. Mega Evolve a Psychic type Pokémon to get those XL candies! Preferably Mega Rayquaza. This is so hype! How we have waited for Mega Mewtwo
