I'm hoping to get some US-based respondents for my research paper survey, focusing on how American Gen X/Millennials/Gen Z interact with fandom/hobbies/collecting, their perceptions of themselves and people in the same spaces, and their thoughts towards purchasing/collection. Pokemon is a big part of this survey, especially regarding both the TCG and Pokemon having the interesting distinction of being one of the few long-running Japanese multimedia franchises to have its original playerbase now passing it down as a family pursuit.
The aim of the paper is to better understand the differences in these habits, perception, and behaviors of American fans/otaku/collectors compared to their Japanese counterparts.
None of the data collected will be used to personally identify anyone, and further details about the survey are explained in the survey header. This should take no longer than 10 minutes of your time, and any participation at all is greatly appreciated.
