I just collect cards, play a bit of tcg, in person and online, and play mostly the mainline games. Currently grinding Cobbleverse instead of playing ZA, really don't like that one.
Pokemon go is like a decade old now, and you gotta realise so many people like pokemon, you can't stay that committed to a game if it isn't for the love of pokemon and also act like it's a niche when it's the most global Japanese show.
If you're a pokémon fan and you are supporting Nintendo, game freak and the pokemon company while they pump and dump a gambling addiction onto children and mentally ill, while they're building more printing houses that will collapse the cars market when they open….

out of all the pokemon games, pokemon go is literally the worst. the games have arleady started to become bad enough, now there is a pokemon game that has p2w aspects in it, everyone loves those! >.> not only that but the insult the fanbase because the 2nd time EVER a shiny mew was obtainable in the entire series and still true to this day, is from pokemon go which u had to pay for to even get. anotehr downside is that its not friendly to ppl who live out in the country at all. meaning if thats where u live, u cant easily play it or even get far in the game cause of it. so yeah i agree, pokemon go makes u more of a larper than a real fan. worst game they have ever made and its not even close. also the game itself gatekeeps on players…as i said, its not friendly to ppl who live out in the country meaning they cant play is basically or if they do they dont get far.
Honestly I feel like it’s for the more hardcore fans, as it’s the closest thing we have to be an actual trainer and honestly wtf else is motivating you constantly be on the move all day long..
Not that it matters anymore because the hobby has been ruined. But if anyones not a pokemon fan it's people who ONLY collect the cards AND don't play the card game.
