Im level 76 and i need to have 10 trades as a requirement to 77.
Ive put all my shinys and legendaries out i dont care if i trade them with their bulbasur im more focussed on levelling up and completing my pokedex. Also im happy when friends with lower levels wants to trade with my shiny legendaries rayquaza is very popular.

Somehow I'm very lucky with trades, I've done 3005 so far and got 3 lucky hundos and 2 hundos from non lucky trades. I still want an armored mewtwo, no matter the IVs lol I just love that pokemon. I hope they bring it back as a surprise during go fest, I don't even care about shiny, it looks horrible anyways, I'd rather have the normal one. Or a shadow, which would be the best one ever.
I've had many people try to take advantage (I draw the line at dex entries if they don't have anything at all to offer in return- I'd rather hold onto 40000 dust than spend it on a snorlax thanks!) I just decline the trade. If they still request stuff I don't want to trade for rubbish, I simply untag everything I don't want to trade them… a couple of times I added a few non shiny regionals (as a few didn't have a single shiny or legendary tagged) problem solved. They either delete me (trash taking itself out IMO 🤷) or get the message- my experience is they either tag some decent mons for trade or they pick something from the revised trade tag.
Personally, I tag 3 pokemon- a dex entry I'd like (regional shiny usually tbh), a +/- shiny legendary & either a regional non-shiny or basic +/- shiny pokemon I wouldn't mind getting a hundo/shundo of if the pokegods bless me with such a thing lol- I feel that way the person can either pick the 40K dust, 800 dust option or 100 dust option depending on what they have to spend. However, I have declined if they are higher level players & want a dex entry from me but select my budget option request- sorry I'm not spending 40K dust on a budget bagon lol.
Other thing I've noticed is ppl adding scat bugs without renaming so u know what area it's from 😂

Îs not true, some are very picky, I have shiny they do not have I have shiny legendary they do not have hundo for them, and they Pick a normal legendary, and do not let me Pick a shiny legendary even if they have 5 of those. So the issue îs they wait for perfect value for value, sorry but I have legendary shinies, but not what You realy want. Some expectantions are to high! Or some really want me to want a simple legendary for a simple legendary! I do not want that. A deal îs when both accept, welcome to capitalism!
I deleted a friend because of remote trading,I had galarian birds in my list to remote trade because if anyone picked one I expected them to trade the same ,well this guy only put up average legendaries for me to pik and he wanted my galarian birds every time ,I rejected him 3 times then deleted him.
I have like 5 people who i can remote lucky trade with BUT they dont have anything in the tags so I cant trade with them at all. And 2 of the 5 are people who i never evee met its more frustrating than anything like ugh. And I have 1 friend who has no shinies in his tag yet I have a ton of shinies and background mons just to share incase someone missed out. But its crazy
Don't get me wrong, it's irritating when someone just has Pidoves and wants your pokemon, but you tagged them BECAUSE they're disposable, and there isn't a gun to your head mandating you accept their trades. Just decline and move on. For pokemon I REALLY want, I message them through Campfire: got myself a shiny Blaziken that went to 98% when we lucky traded, and all he wanted was one of my 20 crown nidokings.
On my son's account, the other guy wanted a shiny Groudon but everything that he had was poor except that he had several shiny Articuno. So we asked for one but he then cancelled. My fairest trade was with Japan. A Stonjourner for his regional Oricorio.
Remote trading at the moment is pure trash. They need to add global trading and I don’t care if they treat it like a remote raid pass, I would pay 300 coins for a remote trade pass versus having to rely on the extremely causal people on my friends list that have 2 shiny pidgey’s
I'm a veteran player with lots of great old stuff to give away, and I'm pretty generous with my friends. The other day, a small level player in my friends list, whom I never met in my life, not even a conversation through campfire, she had a freakin Shiny Galarian Articuno. I selected it, in anticipation she would maybe cancel the trade, but no, she accepted my request and chose a regular Uxie. I was speechless and so happy she was giving it away. Turned out 93%.
I have extra common shinies and everything you can think of non shiny in my remote tab. Save my rare stuff for in person and look for a shiny dex entry from forever friends.
You forgot to talk about that lvl 75+ guy that you get exited to be finaly foreverfirend with, just to find out his list in empty 😂
So many people who don't even tag anything yet they are level 70+.. pushed so hard to go forever friends, they also keep sending gifts daily.. One tried to do a remote trade for my shiny costume Falinks and Galarian shiny Articuno when we aren't even lucky yet… people requesting shiny Galarian Articuno for a plain old legendary.. I have other people who "only want a new shiny or we can't do the trade" when I want to mirror trade my bad IV shiny pokemon.. One guy I said "The shiny pokemon are for mirror trade" he then doesn't put up like for like again. It actually stresses me out
I had a guy adk for a 2x rare shiny Pokemon and he only had basic/uncommon ones to trade.
Done 12 so far and all been great…. Only twice i had to decline. I have 270 in mines and been mostly sensible people
I ksep running into people qanting either 3 shiny legendarys or regionals yet they normally bearly have any com day shinys available. How can someone even think its ok to ask for some of these trades 😂

What I find frustrating about trading in general, is the fact that the traded Pokémon can lose it's status! We all want it to go up in IV, but most of the time it ends up going down and even losing a star! 😢
If it is something you don't want to just trade it should not be in the remote trade list. I have almost 4k in my trade list, and I trade legendary shinies for basic shinies just to complete the dex. Too many people complaining about other people not having time or money to have "good enough" trades. You can just decline the trade if you don't want it, or you could help someone less fortunate than yourself. Nobody knows you only want to "mirror trade" or are expecting some extravagant match of a trade. I traded a shiny background necrozma for a shiny dewpider, I'm level 80 but I only started in 2024 so I don't have any older pokemon than that

For me I’m usually the person who starts the trade. If they have nothing good, but they are long distance. I untag anything that is good so at least I’m getting something out of the deal. And I agree for remote trades it should be 13.
I have over 200 shinys from 0*-2* up for trade but no one wants them 😅
I've had a few trades that I was not happy about due to being unfair to me, but for the most part my trades have been with people I could talk to so I knew if it was a dex entry. As for stats mine have sucked, but my wife lucked into her first shundo from a remote trade.

I had a guy ask for a shiny background necrozma, he had a shiny background G-Max Charizard so I asked for that and offered the necrozma. He turned down the trade and went for just swapping shiny non background necrozma.
I friend recently requested a trade with me. He requested a shiny ho-oh dynamax, an origin pulse shiny kyogre and a shiny oblivion wing Yveltal WITH background. I look at his mons, guess what? Not a single shiny/background legendary pokemon. Hell the best thing they had was a regular rayquaza. Immediately declined lol

It wasn't a remote trade, but it was a lucky trade, I told a guy that I would give him a shiny Kangaskhan, then I told him that i am not too picky. I told him to just pick something for me, he said a shiny Lickitung. He likes them. I told him it had to be a Legendary or ultra beast. Was I out of line? If he is watching, no offence, I just think it was funny.
Plus, people are greedy for other peoples stuff, just like in our political environment. I think all people who have more than me to have their stuff taken away and given to others. People are so stupid for thinking like this.
I didn't do the trade but someone wanted a shiny BG Groudon, Shiny rayquaza and Shiny kyruem. What this person had on there trade list was a honedge, Aaron, sawk, and flabébé no Shiny, no backgrounds. I have 4 other friends that haven't even added any pokemon on there trade list

This is a FACT! Some players think they can give you crap for a legendary. People are nuts, half of the people I have the ability to trade with have ZERO POKKEMON MARKED.
My last trade the person wanted Dialgia with signature move for Dynamax Entai. I wanted Memtwo he kept rejecting my trade.

Poke, I don't know if you play the main series but the random trades are always garbage Pokémon or hacked Pokemon. I actually love the Hacked Pokemon because they usually come with great items like master balls or pretty awesome special items.
So main game random trading has been like this for as far as I could remember. When I can use the Hacked Pokemon I will use them in raids but I never use them when battling other people. I will also use the Hacked Pokemon as a blueprint on how to make the real deal. What's the best nature for the Pokemon what stats you want to increase what's the best item for that Pokemon to hold.
Bro i graciously put up a second shiny mewtwo i had in hopes i could either do a mewtwo swap or get a shiny i RELALLY want. This little punk from germany would NOT stop asking for the mewto and all i was asking for a slugma. Ended up giving him an extra shiny raikou for a kyurem and immediately removed him as a friend

Am one who feels I am a fair to giving myself a bad part of a trade. I do have a limit. One example a trainer wanted an armored mewtwo and their pokemon they had for trade was rattata non-shiny or hoot-hoot. unfriended me because I declined that trade. would have thought they would at least something of a llittle more value for one of the most desired pokemon in the game.
Ended up trading it for a shiny Skarmory, because I needed it for my lucky dex with someone else

that Furfrou trade for non-shiny Zacian or Reshiram – i get it and i would trade that, cause that is regional form form Furfrou.. and without traveling or trading, you cant get it. but non-shiny Zacian or Reshiram, you can get anywhere in world.. so that one, i get it and i would trade it, if i wouldnt have that form of Furfrou.

Thats for dumb kids. You do shiny regular or shiny legendary or just regular legendaries. Simple as that.
Increase the floor for lucky trades won't change anything ppl will still complain if they hit the floor iv. Anyways very nice collection, my wife lucky traded the mewtwo she got with one of my kids (cross trade) guess what it turned out to be a Hundo, she is more lucky than me who plays more often, but my wife and my kids most of the times getting the better stuff out of raids or trades.😢
