I saw [u/L13yuki](u/L13yuki) come up with their own Octillery evolution, which followed the pattern of it evolving into a completely different species, while keeping the weaponry theme. It inspired me to come up with my own spin on Octillery’s evolution.
Bombaleen is based off a whale and a Warship with a bit of anti air cannon mixed in, with its spout acting as its main firearm.

Nice. I also like the continuation of the metajoke of strange evolutions, based on their real-life counterparts. Fish into octopus (tetrapus? half-an-octopus?) into whale is hilarious, while gun into tank into warship does make sense from the other point of view.
