Recently got an ETB from Best Buy with this card in one of the packs. I contacted the seller (pretty angrily) saying that this was a scam…but they were genuinely shocked this happened, said that they take tampering extremely seriously, reviewed security footage, and offered to send a pack at least. By my judgement, they seemed just as confused as I was that this happened.
They also suggested that this could be a production error on the Pokémon side? I’m not sure about this part. Has anyone seen an error like this?? It looks so horrible I am truly shocked that something like this would even happen in production.
The front is completely fine, it was a Mega Emboar ex. This card came in the middle of other cards which looked completely normal and untampered with.
