Hi there! I'm back with three cool new Fakemon to share with you 😀
Since California has a fairly large East Asian population due to the large influx of people for the California Gold Rush, I figured it'd be cool to introduce a few NEW treasures of ruin inspired by the various things that were brought over or used often.
We have Chin-Bi (Dark/Steel), Du-Mo (Dark/Poison), and Hui-Deng (Dark/Electric). Here are their Pokedex entries:
Chin-Bi: The greed of merchants who crossed the Eastern Sea in search of Caloro’s ancient riches clad itself in metal coinage to become a Pokémon. It is said their relentless pursuit of wealth led not only to their own demise, but to the ruin of all who followed. Chin-Bi wanders abandoned mines, its clattering echo luring the unwary as it strips all things of value, leaving only hollow remains behind.
Du-Mo: The corruption of a foreign minister with ill intent to strip Caloro of its lands clad itself in noxious filth to become a Pokémon. It is said the substance contained within the bottle – once reserved for elite ministers of the East – became tainted through misuse, spreading corruption into thought and judgment itself. Du-Mo moves through the Blackwater Sea Caves it calls home, releasing a fine dust that clouds the minds of all who inhale it.
Hui-Deng: The neglect of weary travelers who crossed the Eastern Sea in search of new opportunities clad itself in flickering light to become a Pokémon. It is said the lantern it bears was once meant to guide the lost safely through Caloro, but its glow dimmed as they were left alone to perish by the merchants they had trusted. Hui-Deng drifts silently through the glistening redwoods, its faint light appearing to those who have already lost their way, yet those who follow it in search of guidance…are seldom seen again. Hui-Deng has already drifted beyond their reach as the forest itself seems to close in around them.
