Lol that’s what I get for buying one yesterday.
Somehow the Mario Kart World bundle returned.
Smart move, soften the blow of the price increase.
This will definitely eat into their margins as they are 3 expensive games but this early in the generation it’s more important to build a large install base.
So they’ve increased the price but included a digital game that basically offsets the price increase. Not too bad tbh
So are people just buying the switch and not buying any games for it?
I guess this is US only?
Couldn’t find anything about it on the EU sites at least so far.

Bundle starts in early June, so technically it might not even offset the $50 increase if it sells out before the September price hike.
It’s basically the same price as the Mario Kart World launch day bundle, but this time you at least get to select from three different titles.
I like how they’re actively trying to make the price work for consumers with a bunch of bundles within the first year
If offered game in physical format then I’d actually be interested

Wouldn’t MKW be the best option considering it’s the higher priced game between the 3?

Mario Kart, the best selling game on the console and their best selling IP since the DS days. A great game.
DK Banaza, the best reviewed first party true exclusive on the system.
Pokopia: The system’s system seller at the moment.
Should I be cancelling my Switch 2 order from Nintendo and waiting, or are we thinking it’s going to be hard to get a Switch 2 in June?
I was hoping it was at least buy 2 first party games get 1 free type deal.

I thought about this the other day. If you had given me the choice of a bundle game on day 1 I honestly wouldn’t have chosen MKW.

So they technically increased the price of the console to appease investors, but are now bundling a game so that it’s a better deal overall. Not a bad play 🤔
pretty smart move from nintendo to create these “pick 1” bundles that’ll be available before the overall switch 2 price increase later this year. all the games are solid choices too. if i was still debating about getting a switch 2, i’d try to pick up one of these so i don’t pay an extra $50-150 for the console and a game.
