water: arcade/video games (manta ray)
this elusive pokemon is found in the deep ocean where its colors shine brightest, gliding through the water at high speeds like a spaceship, the patterns are reminiscent of arcades, its colors intentionally more “washed” out outside of the deep sea, it learns ballistic moves like water gun, lock on, and it can even learn bullet seed, researchers believe the strange head gear it sports are used to communicate with others of its kind, but oddly enough the only input its brainwaves give their research machines is only in the form of code or written dialogue, no sound at all, hm…. it becomes electric type!
fire: chess/board games (bee)
starting your move with this little bee is inspired by pawns! it’s evolution line will feature other pieces in the order of a pawn (worker bee) a rook (drone) and a queen (a… a queen queen bee lolol), their hives are similar to chess boards in pattern and they use strategy and teamwork to defend their hives, lighting the pollen on their bodies ablaze before they go in for the attack, and yes its shinies will be the black chess pieces instead of the lighter pieces >:) it’s other type is buge lol
grass: dnd/role playing games (fox)
this little critter is inspired by medicinal plants as it is a “healer” class, another slight and developing inspiration for it was from elves so i wanted some BIG pointy ears, it also has the power to have a mini pocket dimension in its tail where it can poof items (yes even a bike lol) in or out existence kind of like a cartoon, an infinite inventory space if you will as a nod to most RPGs having utterly nonsensical levels of inventory room, it’s dual type will be fairy type
could use some names too for these guys if anyone has any ideas!
