  1. Awesome arrangement, awesome musicians. I hope that this is the pokemon game that hits like the mainline games used to. Really hasn’t been since Pokemon Sun for me personally.

First half felt very zelda til some of the traditional motifs came in

  3. Red_0utlaws

IDK if its just me but this feels like a combination of Pokemon and Pirates of the Carribean

Is this the first time they’ve had an orchestrated main theme, let alone a song that isn’t arranged with MIDIs in a main series title? I really hope they are going all out on this one.

    Brilliant orchestra! Beautiful music!

But I miss when game music was game music. I thought chip-tunes as a genre would’ve been the defacto standard by now when it comes to games. One can dream.

Love to see them giving some attention to the score. Hopefully there’ll be more like this before the game is out

  7. Much prefer this to S/V’s theme. Also I bet those plushies confirm some of the pokemon availlable in game that were not shown in the reveal trailer!

I really hope these new Pokémon set a new bar for the series.

It’s only the music/soundtrack that Pokemon is able to compete at the top of awards

The initial vibes of Winds and Waves feel significantly better than they did for Scarlet and Violet, and I think a non-insignificant factor there is this theme song.

It’s very stormy feeling. I like it

I imagine a music production like this for Scarlet/Violet and then it cuts to the classroom scene of the 1 FPS child leg kicking.

TBF though, music has never been an area where main series Pokemon games have suffered in the production.
