Im ready with mega Tyranitar, now im farming mega energy for him.You need few Ghost pokemon also not just dark cuz like you said focus blast will one shoting your dark type.I have lunala and chandelure in the team.

for may suggestion , those are new just prepare for their Tyranitars and Gengars just make 3 of them will do (to avoid they r not having the mega Pokemon in the lobby even they can have 6 of a single type)

Mega malamar day 1 for the super effective dark boost and extra candy for psychic types. Mega Rayquaza or Gardevoir for day 2 for the super effective flying or fairy types and also the extra candies for psychic types.
I still have my 6 tyranitars and 6 gengars from the good old EX raid days, should probably add that Necrozma and mega evolve something

Im going mega alakazam for the candy. It is the #4 pick against psy and #3 pick against fighting. since I already know I will be playing in a party of 4 the meta completely changes with party power involved and I don't see a reason not to use it unless you playing remote there is no excuse 😆. Like even if you have been playing for a while and have all the fancy mons they heavily benefit from party power just the same, quicker raids, less healing and reviving.
Malamar for Mega 4 for sure. Most people won’t use their mega to damage in the battle because they won’t want it to die since you need the shield break. Then I think Dawn Wing Necrozma and Rayquaza
One thing about mega mewtwo that I am confused on- Pokebase and Go Hub have different stats for mega Mewtwo, go hub's are higher, and pokebase's are lower. Which one would be more accurate?

The only mega I’m running is a a level 4 MEGA MALMAR for the extra XL candies mew two does not come around too often I’m not worried about the counters there will be plenty of players in the lobbies

5:01 I recommend if using mega rayquaza to not use Dragon Ascent when breaking the shields because the animation takes too long. Mine keep getting knocked out before I can land it. I instead used breaking swipe. That applies for any tho make sure the charge animation is a short one for breaking the shields
