Never really understood people powering up anything other than a shadow.
Ok soooooo now I feel bad for transferring close to 200 shadows today and 150 were legendary! I did keep my best 3stars but yeah now I’m super sad
i've seen vids showing that a shadow 0% does more damage than a non-shadow hundo (and tested it too), but having a few good shandos in my collection, especially excadrill and metagross, make them worth levelling up even more 💚
still bummed that magnezone doesn't get thundershock, though!

I have a perfect Shadow Magnemite and Tyranitar lol. The Magnemite is for lols in the Great League and the Tyranitar is great in the Master League.

Have a bunch I use and have powered up. Most to 40 so far, but a few to 50. Out of all of them, the 2 I consider the best brags are my 50 Hundo Shadow Metagross and my 3 star shiny Shadow Darkrai. Both extremely useful btw.

My only shadow hundo is my Garchomp, it's my favorite pokemon so I'm happy I have it, I got it in 2023

You should use dialgadex to see the ACTUAL best pokemon for raids, pokemon go hub databse is not the best

Only plebs purify. Outside of not having a strong mega that you 'need' – there is quite literally no benefit to purifying a mon.

i love powering up shadows but i need niantic to move and or lock the purify button! i have learned this lesson the hard way a few times and every time i get so upset they were perfect PVP iv’s 😢 but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I love Shadow Pokémon. Except for how easy it is to accidentally purify them. Recently I was powering up my 96% Shadow Excadrill and it was late, and decided that it needed to go up one more level so it wasn't 39.5, and hit purify instead. Now I have a worthless Purified Hundo Excadrill. Almost sent it to the professor. But didn't because of the mega coming someday.

I don't do shadow Pokémon and probably never will.
If you played Pokémon Colosseum or Gale of Darkness on the GameCube, you'd know shadow Pokémon are in constant pain and always in a rage. They hurt themselves whenever they attack and can't grow. Yes, it's game lore that most people don't care about, but having played those games, I can't raise and best-buddy a shadow knowing within the Pokémon world, it's in extreme pain.
(I know it's just pixels at the end of the day, this is just my choice on the matter.)

There's no bad investments when you invest in a Shadow Pokémon. A 0/0/0 IV Shadow is better than a 15/15/15 non-Shadow. I wish the game was more transparent with this, because I wouldn't have purified by 13/13/13 Shadow Mewtwo years ago to make it a 100% IV Mewtwo.

Some advice I always give newer players in my area is that a 0% IV Shadow hits harder than a 100% IV non-Shadow! Most folks don’t believe me, but you can run the numbers yourself and confirm it! The Shadow bonus is a flat 20% boost to damage. The stat difference between 0 IVs and 15 IVs is only something like 10-15% (I think it depends on the specific Pokemon). Regardless, it will always be a bigger stat difference than IVs.
I always recommend investing in good Shadow legendaries that are out of rotation, even if they have bad IVs. You’re better off having a high level 70% IV Shadow Kyogre that you can use right now, rather than a hypothetical 90%+ IV one that you MIGHT get in the future!

Got 5 lvl 50 shadows they are so strong:)
I have eight 98% shadows and only two are meta relevent: Heatran and Kyogre. I wish Toucannon and Emboar were better.
I got 2 hundo shadow groudons and a hundo primal groudon all maxed out anything that is weak to ground just melts
I just got an 11/15/14 shadow larvitar and this convinced me to keep him shadow
Shadow shinies are my prized possessions. Always max it out to flex in raids. Also theyre a huge flex as ur buddy pokemon.
Appreciate you talking about not going crazy over hundos. Too many people get caught up at only getting things like 13-13-13 shadow mewtwo
