I made some Pokémon Trainers in Gen 2 style. I’m still learning how the style works, and it’s harder than I expected compared to Pokémon sprites! I really respect the artists from the old era who could create the illusion of detail despite the color and size limitations of game sprites.
I’ll keep expanding the trainer roster until there are enough for a game (I have a story in my mind while doing this, after watching lore video from Pokopia and Champions, a gen2 legend rom hack ?), but I’ll return to Pokémon sprites next week. (The trainer sprites will also be added to the shared folder.)
