Distributors of the MIG Switch have been ordered to cease operations.
Nintendo has been fighting against Switch piracy for years, and just secured a major win against one of the more popular Switch pirating tools. Sales of the MIG Switch have been deemed unlawful by The District Court of The Hague.
IGN reported the court ruling in favor of Nintendo. The device in question, the MIG Switch, allowed users to illegally download and play Switch games on their console. Nintendo provided a statement to potential buyers of Switch hacking hardware.

Nintendo’s message to players is to avoid purchasing or using circumvention devices, circumvention software or unauthorised copies of video games, as this increases the risk of interfering with the functionality and experience provided by authentic Nintendo game consoles, video games and systems.
Nintendo began to ban service for users who used the hacking hardware shortly after the launch of Switch 2 last year. Nintendo has continued to have a strong stance against piracy as it relates to its products and services.
