Recommended Psychic Pokemon:
Mewtwo, Caitlyn, Xatu, Espurr, Lunatone (Buff), Dusclops (Buff), Cryogonal (Haze) | All Pokemon should be maxed level (100 or 120).
In this battle, Mewtwo is a powerful psychic Pokemon that deals great damage to Marshal’s team. My random online team: obviousowl and Snathin both brought out Mewtwo.
Moveset: Nowhere to Hide! Psychic, Shadow Ball, Confusion (for unity)
Conkeldurr, Sawk, and Throw are all weak to Psychic and Confusion. Medichams are weak to Ghost type moves such as Shadow Ball, which Mewtwo already has.
Things to watch out for:
Marshal’s first move is “Martial Prowess!” which immediately increases all of his team Pokemon Def by 2, Sp. Def by 2, and Accuracy by 3. This is a good opportunity to use Cryogonal (Haze) if you happen to bring him, or Xatu’s “Our Power is Limitless” for extra stat boosts. Regardless, most of your Pokemon should be maxed level to take the incoming hits.
Sawk and Throh are able to use Rock Smash and Close Combat
Medichams are able to use High Jump Kicks
Conkeldurr is able to use Rock Smash as well as other fighting moves
Mewtwo Strat:
1. Nowhere to Hide (once or twice)
2. Use Psychic against Sawk and Throh
3. Use Shadowball against Medichams
4. One of your Teammates focuses using Psychic on Conkeldurr
