Xerneas is pretty much everything we need for every situation! It can tank and be part of any poison/trap stall teams, it can support and buff up significant by syncing once, it can even act as a decent striker covering both Grass and Fairy types! It doesn’t just stop there, it can even 1v3 in champion Stadium Master Mode (with Grass Weakness), scoring 1500 points still!
Strategy wise it is not entirely straight forward. First of all make sure to get 1 MP refresh for TWIV, then keep spamming Horn Leech to the right opponent (Aurorus) first until minimal HP. 2 reasons to do so: (1) Lorelei will use “Brace Yourself” after 1st sync to gradually heal its Lapras, at this point your damage isn’t high enough to keep up her heals. Hence don’t waste on damaging Lapras 1st; (2) Aurorus at the right will spam Rock Slides non stop after u take out Lapras, which you basically have zero defense buff to withstand that. So you want to take out Aurorus immediately after Lapras is down (Walrein at the left will only spam Icy Wind, which you have +6 sp def to eat that lol).
By the time Aurorus is down to minimal HP, focus back Horn Leech to Lapras. I tend to juggle between Dazzling Gleam and Horn Leech for better MG management. I only use Dazzling Gleam if (1) Xerneas is at full health; (2) my MG is full; and (3) Lapras still hasn’t landed hit on me. My ultimate goal is to accumulate as many sync buff as possible in the shortest amount of time.
*Update: you don’t necessarily need MPR for TWIV, someone brought up to me that u just need to cover Revenge Boost in sync grid and you are good to go! *
The rest are self explanatory as per the video. 😁
