Champion Stadium – Johto Master Mode #6 – F2P “Friendly”
Easy and fun week for F2P friendly runs. This is also the first week where I didn’t have to do a toxic stall.
1) Will (0:00)
2) Koga (2:20)
3) Bruno (4:30)
4) Karen (7:07)
5) Lance (9:16)
1) Crobat (3/5), Weezing, Lunatone
James helps us with poison so we can set up with Crobat right away. You can go for mid first, or take out mid with a sync crit on the second sync. It sort of just depends on how the battle plays out, but this team is fairly consistent. Lunatone is such an underrated support imo, +4 attack and +4 spdef with a 1 bar move spam is really good for a non-grid support.
Grids: Crobat goes for Mind Games / MP Refresh / Blind Spot / Bob and Weave.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Max HP +2 (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Max HP +4 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100)
2) Abomasnow, Serperior (2/5, 6EX), Dewgong (3/5, 4*)
The EX boost is what makes this an easy battle. I used this team in previous weeks as well. A bit of luck needed with the crits and the icy wind hits, but still pretty consistent.
Grids: Dewgong goes for Invigorating Hail 6 and Icy Wind accuracy.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100)
3) Mewtwo (5/5, 20/20), Xerneas (5/5, 20/20), Onix (3/5, 4*)
Kind of a weird one this is, and it turned out to be slightly trickier than I thought. Swanna would be the ideal third, but I’m saving her for Lance. Onix just keeps everyone healthy and is a good 1 bar spammer. If he uses EQ at the start, you can actually get into Power Reserves range which is helpful. The goal is to take out middle before sync, and you should be able to do this right before your second sync. The second sync takes out one of the sides, and then we only have to deal with one AoE user, which should be doable.
Grids: Xerneas goes for Horn Leech Master healer build. Onix goes for Potion tiles.
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction (50), Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Ally HP -5 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100)
4) Lucario (3/5, 5*), Torchic (4*), Cryogonal
Power Reserves build again, this time with Torchic as the support. Easy as usual. Third needs to be something to get rid of the evasion.
Grids: Lucario goes for Close Combat + Power Reserves.
Parameters: Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Ally Healing -5 (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -1 (50), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), No Status Conditions (50), Strength +1 (100), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100)
5) Solgaleo (5/5, 20/20), Swanna (5/5, 6EX), Medicham
I’ve used this team before for steel weak Lance I’m sure, but now that we have EX Swanna, this becomes even easier. Buff then attack, easy win.
Grids: Swanna goes for the standard healing + Take Flight MPR + Gust MGR build.
Parameters: Special Dmg. Reduction (50), Max HP +2 (100), No Stat Reduction (100), Power on Hit 1 (100), Gradual Healing (150), Max Sync Countdown -2 (200), Power on Hit 2 (200), Ally Move Gauge -2 (300), Attack & Sp. Atk +1 (50), No Status Conditions (50), Sync Buff +5 (100), Attack & Sp. Atk +3 (100)
