Champion Stadium – Johto Challenge Week 30
(22 March 2021 – 28 March 2021)
7500 Pts Run the way I like. Here’s some notes when using these teams against the matches.
1) Will (1500 Pts)
Attempting Crobat’s Sync Nuke rather than the conventional poison stall team, since Crobat is easily one of the best F2P Sync Nuker as tested previously ( Key is to eliminate Exegutor before it syncs.
2) Bruno (1500 Pts)
With my previous shafted experience with Champion Iris ( I managed to get 2 more copies of Musharna. So I finally learnt that she. is. IMBA!! Trick is to eliminate Machamp before it syncs.
3) Karen (1500 Pts)
Have neglected Leavanny for a long time since I have 3/5 Volcarona, decided to try him out using Sun Team. Obviously not as hard hitting as Volcarona, but Leavanny has a different set of ‘Tech-Striker’ Mechanism which makes him quite an interesting unit. Same thing, key is to eliminate Umbreon before it syncs. Also decided to EX SS Leaf mainly for Venusaur’s bulkiness.
4) Koga (1500 Pts)
Tbh I kinda regret EX-ing Blue and Pidgeot because of its lack of Sync-nuking’s features. The only reason I EX-ed him was for Hurricane’s damage comparison between Pidgeot’s and Leon’s Charizard ( If you are following my team, pls don’t follow my parameters as I initially thought I could nuke Venomoth out in 2nd sync, but apparently not.
5) Lance (1500 Pts)
Ah yes Samurott’s grid finally is out and he perfect fits well with Hydreigon. Samurott is also useful for this match due to its flinch aggravation, which the rate is further compounded by the additional parameter selected (i.e. Make use of moves with additional effect). Got poisoned halfway, but flinch saved the day!
