While watching the direct today, I noticed in the footage that Daisy was noticeably more tan than usual. ~~When she was first created, Daisy had a darker skin color but around the gamecube era they started lightening her skin until at one point she became paler than peach.~~ It seems she fluctuated in skin ton a lot in her early appearances, usually in 2d she would be lighter while in 3d (and usually made by Camelot) she would be tan. In the gamecube era though she did seem to get a more standardized look similar to what was happening with the other Mario characters. She became lighter (and at one point paler then peach) and got rounder cheeks. In the footage for the new mario golf, she now is darker than Peach.
I would love to see them return to her old skin color as it made her a bit more unique when compared to Peach.
