Champion Stadium – Johto Challenge Week 31
(29 March 2021 – 4 April 2021)
As usual, a rather more f2p friendly options against Master Mode, scoring 7,500 points as a whole. Again, just want to clarify that my definition of f2p units include all story units, legendary event units, and all 3*/4* gacha units. I believe with few months of playing without paying a single penny, you should be able to get all these units easily.
Here’s some notes when using these teams against the matches.
1) Will (1500 Pts)
Key is to eliminate Xatu before it syncs!
2) Koga (1500 Pts)
Typical poison/trap stall team, I used the wrong grid for Crobat, but since I beaten it in 1st attempt, so I just leave as it is. The correct grids are shown at the end.
3) Bruno (1500 Pts)
I would say this is by far the trickiest match this round. Ideally you want to fget MP refresh for Xerneas’ TWIV for 1st turn. Use TWIV again when your gradual heal has subsided and when Hitmonchan started to spam Close Combat. This is when you want to keep spamming Horn Leech to keep up from dying.
4) Karen (1500 Pts)
Same thing, to rush kill Houndoom before it can sync. Of course also taking advantage of the 4th parameter, i.e. higher damage with physical attacks.
5) Lance (1500 Pts)
The match is literally a joke with Palkia’s Hydro Pump build. Again, to take out Charizard before it can sync.
