Is the Champion Stadium region rotation next week? I seriously can’t remember. If it is then this week is the last week of Kanto’s Champion Stadium in Pokemon Masters EX. And this week’s Champion Stadium is of a reasonable difficulty. None of them gave me any troubles particularly.

Lorelei was easily dispatched by 6Star EX Elesa. I chose the parameter “use sync move quickly so that I can sync faster with Blastoise, and work towards Zebstrika’s sync move quickly.

The rest of the parameters really weren’t much help. So it didn’t really matter which parameters I chose for the leftover Elite Fours. For Bruno’s ground weakness I decided this week I want to use Cynthia and Garchomp. With Eevee’s double sync buff and Palossand’s sandstorm, dps is absalutely covered. As long as Garchomp is able to tank the enemy’s first sync the team will be fine. Seeing Garchomp’s effectiveness and how she’s the main ground dps in the game, I am heavily leaning towards using a Striker Candy on her. decision decision.

Fantina has always been my premium Ghost striker because I just don’t fancy Morty and Drifblim. Hence Fantina is automatically my first choice against Agatha. Surprisingly this week’s Agatha seemed alittle bit frail. After Swanna uses a sync move, Mismagius’s Shadow Ball just takes away chunks of Gengar’s HP and smoothly KO’s it before it’s first sync move.

I chose Zinnia and Rayquaza for Lance, but the more I use her, the more I dislike Rayquaza. It need ALOT of support. It needs weather and Critical support to function properly so that’s 2 team slots locked in, and no, I’m not counting Aerial Ace Eagle Eye 3 as a valid self critical hit rate buff. That’s just terrible. However even with the restrictions, NY Lillie, Eggmon Squirtle and some nicely placed evasion luck were able to ensure victory. Outrage manages to take down Dragonite just right before he uses a sync move. The battle would’ve been over 30secs earlier had I chose Dragonite instead of Rayquaza. But well the job is still done.

Lastly the Champion’s battle. I just had to test Ho-Oh’s sync nuke damage here, and it doesn’t dissapoint! Scoring 18k. If this were Master Mode Madness I’d have 150points in the bag^^ Eggmon Ninetales was necessary to cast sunny day before Ho-Oh uses sync move. I’m having alot of fun with Ho-Oh. It’s grid gave it alot of flexibility which I’m still exploring to see what unique setup I can try next.
