Given that a 4K scan of the original 1986 “Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach” movie has been preserved, is there anyone who would consider dubbing and adapting it for American audiences?

I’m considering it, but to be honest, I’ve never taken on a task, and I’m not sure if there are people who would want to.

There are some ideas I have to adapt it to American tastes, and yet have them make sense. (i.e. Luigi’s wrong clothing color, changing Jugem/Lakitu’s Spiny-hatching incantation to something that makes sense in English, and why the Mario Bros. have a shop instead of a plumbing occupation.)

By the way, here’s the video: [https://youtu.be/8J_b8lUajy4](https://youtu.be/8J_b8lUajy4)

Here’s a small idea for a proposal:

A title card that uses brand recognition in the shape of the game’s original logo (and uses colors from the SMB Deluxe logo), and keeps the original spirit of the text and main title: [https://imgur.com/gallery/XUeoCQG](https://imgur.com/gallery/XUeoCQG)

I’ve also found that someone preserved the original vinyl soundtrack: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM7I8mZ5qmM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM7I8mZ5qmM)

and that it may be possible to use it, and the original game music to rebuild the dialogue in the movie in whatever language was needed.
