I know I’m a few days late, but let’s pretend that it’s still the 19th in Japan. This month marks Super Mario Sunshine’s 19th Birthday! Originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan on July 19, 2002 (and later released in other regions at various times throughout the same year). Selling a little over 6 million units during its run, it became GameCube’s 6th best selling game of all-time.
I personally love this game! The soundtrack especially. To this day, it remains to be my favorite Mario OST.
