This is one fun way I can think of using Araquanid’s Wide Guard, especially it has high MP refresh rate of 60% at 3/5 move level.
You may skip until 04:10, the first 4 minutes are just standard poison/trap stalling with Tangela to gradually chip off Machamp. After Machamp is down, Wide Guard then takes great advantage against strong AOE moves by the side mobs.
