Yes, yes. Still beating on the same dead horse. Why do I think these games are coming to Switch pro?
1. These games are easier than their predecessors. (Developers are making games easier for Nintendo players)
2. Many of these games look worse than their predecessors, not in terms of visuals. but rather having dimmer lighting and dated graphics in general (Far cry 6 has joncarlo esposito and looks like shit)
3. there is no competition in the Triple A industry. everyone is making their own niche little game again and again. Xcom devs are making a marvel XCOM, Wolfenstein Devs are making Indiana jones, Just cause devs are making Harry Potter open world, RGG studio made 6 yakuza games in the last 6 years. The fact is, developers have been preparing their games, making them the most compelling/ accessible. Elden ring looks like shit because no one is even trying to take a stab at it. (Making a fromsoftware game is no small feet, I guess. But publishers are making next gen freaking games but still no dark souls even if the formula is popular) Capcom is making Devil may cry 5 and Dead rising. Who the hell buys Just cause?(if they’ve been preparing an open world formula for the upcoming Harry potter open world, that would make sense)
4. Games released unfinished. Street fighter 5 released with a dozen characters and kept getting support up until 2021. they sure took their time making itself complete
5. If you listen to any developer interview, they’re all trying to make their games easier. they all talk about catering their games to new comers sometimes at the expense of old players. Battlefield 2042 for example doesn’t have a traditional scoring system(You don’t see your own kill/death/assist score as per usual in multiplayer shooters instead, you can only see the score of the whole team)
6. The mechanics of the games are varied, but even the themes are really different Fallout is different from Control, and that’s different from Lego star wars, etc
7. These games are going to get sold for 60$ again
8. These games are going to get sold for a new market, who might have been intimidated by complicated looking video games, on top of the the players that are cross platform

10. No one is taking away from Kirby, Bayonetta and SMT
11. Why would Nintendo want to port Disco Elysium, but not port all of these games? I’d think Nintendo would want to make the Switch a one stop shop for all games for their customers(I don’t get the “NO ITS NOT COMING”. You didn’t think there was going to be an upgrade and yet the Oled came out)
Why would triple a publishers want to port their games now as opposed to a couple of years from now? It’s simple, ubisoft want to familiarize kiddies with Assassin’s creed before the next one, Same for Call of Duty, Need for Speed etc
