It has the best virtual console I’ve ever seen, even beating the 3DS.
I just got Medabots: Metabee Version (GBA), Super Mario 64 (DS), Wario Land 4 (GBA), Metroid Fusion (GBA), and Star Fox (N64)… for less than $40. Checking the prices on Amazon/Ebay, I would be paying a small fortune in comparison.
There are some insane deals to be found, most games are like 5 dollars or less (until you get to the Wii generation). Anything from NES, SNES, GBA, or N64 are all incredibly good deals.
*EDIT: no, the e-shop is not shutting down. I’ve asked a few times but nobody can provide a source for Nintendo making this announcement.
