Okay, this game looks like some garbage Unity asset flip, and yeah, the graphics are almost entirely cheap models from the Unity store, but this game is actually good!

# Why it’s good
* Satisfying, fast-paced movement and level design. Jump, double jump, dash, and wall jump with a strong sense of momentum and speed that feels like a mix of Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the Hedgehog, and New Super Mario Bros.. If you find a friend to compete for speedrun times with, it’s surprisingly fun to try to improve your best times on level. (There aren’t online leaderboards though.)
* Original soundtrack is bumpin’.
* Lots of content. 8 worlds, with optional levels, secret exits, 3 collectable coins in each, and speedrun medals in each. I’m guessing it’d take the average person maybe 3 to 4 hours to finish normally, and another 2-3 to get all the coins and extra levels. A couple more hours for speedrun medals. That feels like more in-game than it sounds in hours, but it’s only a $5 game, so c’mon.
* Silly cutscenes.
# Why it’s not perfect
* Ugly. lol.

Also, by the same dev is JankBrain, which plays similarly, but is a harder and slower-paced platformer with a gun. Instead of being able to spam boosts like in Dumpster Bear 2, you charge them up by collecting vitamins, which makes for some interesting chaining of boosts in mid-air by refilling before landing, if you decide to push it that far.
JankBrain came out after Dumpster Bear 2 and is a sort of prequel to the Dumpster Bear series. It’s not necessary to play Dumpster Bear first, but imo Dumpster Bear 2 is the best in the trilogy, and JankBrain is the second best.
