Champion Stadium – Unova Challenge Week 66
(29 November 2021 – 5 December 2021)
Made me excited for nothing lol, thought the 10k point system starts this week. Anyways, always good to get myself prepared before the real thing comes.
Here are some notes of strategy on beating each stages:
1) Shauntal (Water Weak – 2k points)
Standard Pre-sync race, the additional Strength+6 is nothing in front of the Almighty Palkia.
2) Marshal (Psychic Weak – 2k points)
This is the first time I ever use stall strategy against Psychic-weak stage, due to Mewtwo needs to deal with Ghost-weak Caitlin, plus the left Primeape is acting weird here by not allowing us to quad-queue, hence I can’t use Mew to nuke it out pre-sync. Hence have to be creative to sstall Marshall out using Granbull’s Charm to debuff opponent’s Attack stats.
3) Grimsley (Bug Weak – 2k points)
Another Stall strategy here, Psyduck’s Synchro Healing is super crucial here as it helps the whole team to survive in longer battle, considering you have to add an additional Strength+3/+6 for stall strategy.
4) Caitlin (Ghost Weak – 2k points)
As always, Sync countdown reduced by half is always not welcome even for fully invested F2P Run. Thank goodness I am allowed to use Mewtwo EX here to make my life easier lol
5) .Iris (Dragon Weak – 2k points)
Almost couldn’t pre-sync it, luckily Doggo came to the rescue with that additional Behemoth Chip damage.
