Sinnoh fans deserve all the attention after getting almost nothing in PokeMas for the past year. Really excited for the next month as there’s a lot going on.
As much as I wanted all the teams to be made of Sinnoh units, there’s only one Sinnoh unit that can paralyze, so only one team is possible haha. I decided to focus on three of its strongest strikers, two of which are getting quite a lot of attention this update.
Here’s how each battle went, and the sync grids used:

I wonder how an EX would change anything for Cyrus, since he’s mainly used for Hydro Pump. He does have innate Soften Up 1 and Crit Strike 100 or something, which would make him an interesting pick in Dragon-weak stages. Here he uses Hydro Pump to wash Tornadus away, with Calem and Sabrina helping him out. Sabrina’s accuracy buffs also help in making Hydro Pump and Thunder Wave never miss.

They really took this long to give Cynthia her third alt? And it’s with Giratina??? And it’s not released in Halloween?????
In any case, her first unit has been power crept pretty badly, but she still holds up, especially in the sand. Sadly Ingo doesn’t activate Sandstorm MPR here, so she only gets to enjoy the sand for like one Tornadus HP bar hahaha. Erika debuffed Sp Atk while paralyzing and can hold her own.

Barry’s gonna fine whoever decided not to give him anything in the big Sinnoh update haha. He is, in fact, my strongest Sinnoh striker, so I look forward to trying to win with him in the upcoming Sinnoh EBE. He gets an interesting speed debuffer here in Classic Elesa, who also debuffs Sp Def to boost his sync nuke. That kinda makes SC Jasmine redundant, but her special bulk is unparalleled.
