I’m not sure where to rank this batch of PoMa Day grids since while I think Wikstrom probably has the best grid since Candice (I guess Siebold’s up there too), the other two are a bit… forgettable? Ramos does appreciate the sun tiles and the additional Defense Crush on Bullet Seed, which is why I use him here. Not too impressed by Wulfric’s grid outside of the Ice Fang tiles, but I’m sure there’s a certain PoMa Youtuber who’s gonna show his full potential.
In any case, I brought Wikstrom and Ramos to a few boss fights here to try out their new toys. Here’s how each battle went, and the sync grids used:

Pretty reliable F2P team against any Steel-weak stage. On top of all the generous multipliers on his grid, Wikstrom has innate Pecking Order on his sync, which is why Ghetsis is here to activate it. Hop is actually a bit redundant with his buffs as Wikstrom can max out his offensive stats on his own, but I still chose to use him for the faster buffs and for the much-needed bulk.
The hardest thing about using Wikstrom is taking into account Aegislash’s pathetic bulk in Blade Form, boasting Blissey-levels of stats but for both physical and special defense. This is why you’ll see me use King’s Shield at the end here – I wanted to debuff the opponent’s Attack as much as possible so that the team could tank the move properly. Unfortunately Ghetsis gets flinched, but Wikstrom fights back with his own flinch proc to secure the win.

This footage is sped up since this is a long clear. With his grid, Ramos becomes pretty self-sufficient under sun, and the additional Defense Crush 3 on Bullet Seed makes him a good-enough debuffer. I pair him with Lyra here for the infinite sun, and Mallow as the main striker for the Attack debuffs. Of course, Ramos’s main job here is to sleep chain, which Lyra appreciates especially against the physical moves. While she is helped by Mallow’s Attack debuffs there, the free turns from sleep go a long way.

Wikstrom is one of the few Kalos damage-dealers who can fully buff their own crit, which makes him automatically useful for Kalos-centric content. Unfortunately his poor bulk in Blade form means that he won’t last very long, especially in the current Extreme Battle Event and its many AOE moves. But he does find a niche in the current Battle Challenge, which has a bonus mission that requires 3 Kalos units. Along with Ramos and Sycamore, they form a solid enough F2P team to beat the stage.

This is the first clear but with more premium teammates haha. PalMarnie synergizes very well with Wikstrom as she activates so many of his multipliers, and she also completes his crit buffs just by entering the stage. There are several possible tanks that can support this duo, but I went with Cobalion for the master passive, Defense buffs, gauge acceleration, and Defense debuffs.
