I do think the Trainer Lodge is a nice addition – it’s been a while since we got a new feature that isn’t battle-related, and it looks like it’s not a one-and-done kind of thing as there are a lot of rewards. It helps that five of the initial roster can be considered rivals so haha.

Already starting off with an annoying clear, as this relies a lot on Blue’s flinches and the team’s evasion luck to work. While N’s helped by the physical damage up parameter, his lack of good sync multipliers really shows here. That last few turns almost made me roll my eyes with how it went but I’m glad Blue pulled through.

Needs some good luck with Sidney’s attacks since Sycamore will be KOed by Close Combat. I tried syncing with Summarnie initially but I faced gauge issues, so I needed Sycamore’s buffs first. Cynthia is pretty much filler but she can get lucky with Defense debuffs from Stomping Tantrum.

Incredibly annoying clear to get, even with Silver being on-type. I don’t know why, but PalMarnie’s Iron Head flinches just weren’t cooperating, and I really needed them to since this stage’s AOE moves are deadly. This turned out to be the one thanks to that really clutch Headbutt flinch in the end from Spring May, and thankfully Glacia went for Draining Kiss when the flinch ran out.

Took a while to get the parameters right for this actually since Phoebe has a huge HP pool, but this was definitely easier than the past three clears. Anni Lillie obviously shines on-type, though she relies a lot on Super Prep 4 activating here. Rosa refills the gauge while Marnie has a 1-bar move with a 30% flinch chance.

Quite fun to see SS Blue deal good damage, with May activating Raging Rain and SC Lillie helping with Smart Cookie. The former also helps with her sync nuke, while the latter can fish for flinches while she’s buffing the team’s crit. One of my attempts for this stage also saw the first time her trainer move summoned Ghost Zone for me haha.
